About Me

I was nine years old when I picked up my first guitar and began my journey with music. Over the years, my playing has been shaped by a wide range of influences, including rock, metal, and progressive styles, as well as classical and jazz. I’ve also drawn inspiration from music beyond Western traditions, particularly flamenco and Middle Eastern music. Each of these has taught me something different and has influenced how I think about music as an art form.

My background includes private study in both classical and jazz traditions, college-level coursework, and a degree in audio engineering, alongside years of deep, focused self-study. Along the way, I’ve played in bands across various styles, performed solo acoustic sets, and supported other artists as a sound engineer in both studio and live environments. Teaching students of different ages and backgrounds has also been one of the most rewarding aspects of music for me.

This website serves as a place to share my work, ideas, and perspectives on music. Here you’ll find performances, articles, original transcriptions, and teaching and learning materials, as well as updates on various projects as they develop.
